Notary Point opened in April 2016 to give Mississauga a notary service that is quick, fairly priced and run by lawyers. Ten years and thousands of documents later, that is still the whole idea.
Who notarizes your document
Every notarization at Notary Point is performed by a lawyer licensed by the Law Society of Ontario. In Ontario, lawyers may be appointed as notaries public for life under the Notaries Act and are commissioners for taking affidavits by virtue of their office. That means the person stamping your document can also tell you whether it says what you need it to say.
What that means for you
- A lawyer reads your document before you sign, so obvious errors are caught while they are still easy to fix.
- If you need a document written, such as an affidavit or an invitation letter, we draft it on the spot.
- We can tell you plainly when a document should not be notarized, or when you need a different service, such as an apostille from the Ontario government.
Our office
We are on the sixth floor of 33 City Centre Drive, directly beside Square One Shopping Centre in the Mississauga City Centre. There is two-hour free parking on the premises, the building is wheelchair accessible, and Square One GO and MiWay terminals are a short walk away. Service is available in English and Hindi.

A related firm
Notary Point shares an office with Law Wise Professional Corporation, a Mississauga law firm. If your matter goes beyond notarization, for example a will that needs to be drafted or a real estate closing, we can point you to a lawyer there.
